Terms of Service

These are the rules for using frigidrigid.com and buying from us. They cover what we do, what you do, what happens if something goes wrong, and how we resolve disagreements. We've kept them as plain as we can.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of frigidrigid.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Frigid Rigid. If you don't agree with them, don't use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You may use the Site to browse, learn about our Fiberglass Ice Chests, place orders, and contact us. You may not:

• Use the Site for anything illegal
• Try to interfere with the Site's normal operation (scraping, denial of service, exploiting vulnerabilities, etc.)
• Use automated tools to copy our content for republication
• Misrepresent yourself or impersonate someone else

We can suspend or close any account that violates these rules.

3. Account Responsibilities

If you create a customer account, you're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Products — Made to Order

Most Frigid Rigid Ice Chests are made to order. Each one is built by hand in Fort Myers, Florida. That's part of why we can offer custom sizes and custom colors — and it's why lead times apply.

• Standard items: typically ship in 2-3 weeks from order
• Custom-fit / custom-color items: typically ship in 4-6 weeks from order
• We confirm lead time on each product page and on your order confirmation

5. Pricing and Payment

Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. Once you place an order, the price you paid is locked for that order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, and any others we add).

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state law.

6. Custom Orders and Custom Color Disclaimer

A Frigid Rigid Ice Chest is finished with a durable gel-coat surface. Gel-coat is the same finish used on premium boats. It's beautiful, it's tough, and it has one inherent characteristic worth knowing:

Custom colors may vary slightly between production batches. Gel-coat is mixed by hand and applied by hand. Two coolers ordered six months apart may show a small variation in shade or sheen. If exact match across multiple units matters to you (e.g., a fleet of matched coolers for a boat builder), tell us when you order and we'll mix from the same batch.

Custom-fit and custom-color orders are made to your specification. They are not eligible for the 30-Day Performance Guarantee. They are still covered by our limited warranty against manufacturing defects. See the Warranty + Return Policy.

7. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

When you place an order, you receive an order confirmation. This is not yet acceptance of the order — we reserve the right to decline or cancel any order (e.g., for pricing errors, inventory issues, or suspected fraud). If we cancel an order you've paid for, we refund you in full.

You can cancel a standard order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. Custom-fit and custom-color orders can be cancelled within 24 hours; after that, work has begun and we can no longer cancel.

8. Shipping

We ship to addresses in the United States. International orders are evaluated case by case — contact us for a quote.

Oversize items (large Ice Chests, Coffin Boxes, Refrigerators & Freezers) ship via LTL freight. LTL is curb delivery only. You are responsible for moving the item from the curb to its final location. Full details on the Shipping Policy.

9. Returns and Warranty

The 30-Day Performance Guarantee and our limited warranty are covered in the Warranty + Return Policy. These are separate from this Terms document but incorporated by reference.

10. Intellectual Property

The Frigid Rigid name, logo, "Fantastic Compared To Plastic" slogan, all branded feature names ("Back-To-The-Wall" Setback Lid Design, "3-D" Gasket Seal, "No-Suck" Vacuum Release Hole, "One-And-Done" T-Latch, "Slam Stopper" Lid Shock, and others), the product designs, photography, and website content are the property of Frigid Rigid and its licensors. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

You may share photos and links to our Site on social media and in personal communications. Dealers, OEM partners, and media outlets working with us have separate, written usage agreements.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN THE WARRANTY + RETURN POLICY, THE SITE AND THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties. In those states, the disclaimer above applies only to the extent allowed by that state's law.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, FRIGID RIGID IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM A PURCHASE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT IN QUESTION.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury caused by a product defect).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Frigid Rigid harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights. We'll cooperate with you in any defense, and we reserve the right to control the defense of any matter for which we're entitled to indemnification.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Frigid Rigid is headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida.

15. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Frigid Rigid, we ask that you contact us first at sales@frigidrigid.com and give us a reasonable chance to resolve it directly. We try to handle every dispute by talking it through.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Lee County, Florida before pursuing litigation. Any litigation that follows shall be filed in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida, and you and Frigid Rigid both consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
